This thumb dagger is designed to be concealed in the accompanying card case. The dagger was ordered by a member of the Free French forces. The cards with the dagger are marked "B.C.R.A." for the Bureau Central de Renseignements et d\Action, the WWII forerunner of later French intelligence agencies. The cards are stamped in red or blue to indicate whether they could be presented to re-enter French facilities during the day or night. Only marked with a B on the face. Perhaps the mark of Bert Warden, a jeweler, who also made some lapel daggers for BCRA (Bureau Central des Renseignements et d'Action), De Gaulle's intelligence and espionage agency. Purchased From author Leroy Thompson and comes with a COA.
