In the 1997 United Cutlery catalog and only the 1997 catalog they shown this stand as the UC898-STD Dragon lord display stand, solid walnut display with a plexiglass cover that holds the UC898, original retail price: $99.39

The Edge Company, when they were still in business came out with a limited edition run of the DL. Only 400 were made and they are a serial number edition.

Also there is the 40th anniversary Dragon Lord with a special run of only 750 pieces.

UC898-E  Due to the knuckle guard of the Dragon Lord they were not allowed to be imported into the UK so United made a special European Edition of the DL with a short guard.
